TFM has garnered enthusiastic users but hasn't been able to compete
with Apple's free documentation viewer (part of Xcode).
Future development is planned but right now users are probably
better off using other tools like:
|
|
Xcode
AppKiDo
Cocoa Browser
|
What is it?
|
TFM is a tool to search and view:
- Mac OS X developer documentation
- frameworks (e.g., Omni)
- source code examples
- system headers (e.g. /usr/include)
- your own source and documentation
|
|
How do I use it?
|
Create a new document and then drag and drop a folder into it.
This will index all the documents TFM understands
in that folder and the subfolders below it.

| Are there more details?
